Well, it's that time again. Upgrading SH. I did fuck it up majorly because I had reversed two variables and couldn't get any error messages to figure out what the hell was going on. WAMP, you failed me.

Thing seem to be in order now. If there are errors please let me know. I think I should be done tinkering though I should take a major look at the UCP.

New features if you care to look. PMs can be 'conversations' between more than one person. Friendly URLs. Facebook-type mini-update thing in your profile. A lot of the change was backend so nothing to see though now I have a pretty neat admin CP and reported posts center. (;

I completely rewrote the Multi-Avatar system and added it as an application. You can now choose how it's sorted in the fast-reply dropdown, the full post form, and the edit multi-avatars section. There's also a tab in members profiles for it.

Regular members get 15 avatars, alumni get 20, and donating members get 75.

The look. I know it's different but it would have been ridiculous to try to fit everything into a fixed width of 650px and centered. I know many people aren't going to like it. They didn't like the old skin back when it was introduced, either.

Is "View New Content" the equivalent of the old "View New Posts" button? Because I used the hell out of that thing. And since there's no little orange square anymore, how do I get to the last unread post? I have exploring to do!

Yes, view new content is the same. Except it can include blog/gallery/etc. stuff.

I think last unread posts might have gotten messed up on a lot of topics because of an error I encountered running a script command line... we'll see if it sorts itself out in a few days.

Ooh, I get 25 more avatars! :) Very happy girl. And I love the way it uses the whole screen. I never liked the big black gaps either side of threads and profile pages really.

View New Content keeps showing me the same posts, and not including the newest ones, like the ones we're making here. View Today's Active Content is showing me the newest posts, but I can only get to it from the main forum page.

Is there supposed to be a button that takes you to the newest unread? Or is it just supposed to happen when you click the topic name? Once I figure these two things out, I'll be a happy camper! I really like the new look. It's quite pretty. Ooh and the profiles are neat!

Ah, If I go right to the specific forum, I see the View Last Unread button, but I don't see it from the View Today's Active Content page.

A lot of people's avatars aren't showing up. On this page I can see everyone's but Flypaper's. On another topic I was looking at I could only see half.

Hmmm. I like it better with the gaps on either side, so the wideness I'm going to have to get used to. I don't like change!!!! Ahhhh!

I'm completely in love with the PM pop up bit.
I am having some issues with the view new content as well. Aside from the fact it keeps showing me the same things, it's also not showing page numbers or who made the posts.

Overall though, I'm loving it. I think it looks totally awesome. :D

I really have to get used to the wide version of SH. I always thought the narrow version was kind of cozy. I do love that logo though, what a great S ^_^

For me, the little flags showing where the people are from are displaying as red x's. Not sure if that's been addressed but I thought I'd point it out!
